Day 01. Addis Ababa city tour, the view from Mount Entoto, the National and Ethnographic Museums, Trinity Church,the Mercato. O/n Addis Ababa.
Day 02. Fly to Axum, tour of the stelae, Kaleb’s castle, Basen’s Tomb, "Queen Sheba’s Palace", Mariamtsion Church and Axum Museum. O/n Axum
Day 03. Excursion to the pre-Axumite temple and the church of Abuna Aftse at Yeha. O/n Axum.
Day 04. Fly to Lalibela, tour of the "first group" of churches o/n Lalibela.
Day 05. Tour of the "second group" of churches and one outlying church.
Day 06. Fly to Gondar, tour of the imperial compound and churches of Debre Berhan Selassie and Qusquam. O/n Gondar.
Day 07. Early morning excursion to Simien vista. Drive to Gorgora, church of Debre Sina Mariam. o/n Gondar
Day 08. Drive to Bahir Dar. O/n Bahir Dar.
Day 09. Morning excursion to Blue Nile Falls. Afternoon boat trip to the Zegie Peninsula and the church of Ura Kidane Meheret. O/n Bahir Dar.
Day 10. Fly back to Addis Ababa, souvenir shopping and farewell dinner

Day 02. Drive to Kombolcha or Dessie. (If Sunday, the market at Senbete can be visited en route)
Day 03. Drive to Lalibela, tour of first group of churches. O/n Lalibel Lalibela - underground tunnel between churches
Day 04. Tour a second group of churches and one outlying church. O/n Lalibela.
Day 05. Drive to Mekelle, Spectacular Mountain scenery around Korem and Amba Alage. O/n Mekelle.
Day 06. Visit Mekelle Museum (palace of Emperor Yohannes IV) and leave for Adigrat, visiting rock hewn churches of Wukro Cherkos and Medhane Alem Adi Qusho, and the Islamic site of Hamad al-Negash. O/n Adigrat
Day 07. Drive to Axum, visiting (men only) the 7th century monastery of Debre Damo
and the pre Axumite temple and the church of Abuna Aftse at Yeha. O/n Axum.
Day 08. Tour of Axum, the stelae, Kaleb’s tomb, "Queen Sheba’s palace", Mariamtsion church and Axum Museum. O/n Axum
Day 09. Drive to Gondar, crossing the Tekezze River and skirting the Simien Mountains to the east. O/n Gondar.
Day 10 Tour of Gondar, the Imperial Compound and the churches of Debre Berhan Selassie and Qusquam. O/n Gondar.
Day 11 Drive to Gorgora, the medieval church of Debre Sina Mariam, trek to old Gorgora. Visit to former Felasha or Beit Israel village. O/n Gondar
Day 12. Drive to Bahir Dar. Boat trip to Zegie Peninsula. O/n Bahir Dar.
Day 13. Visit to Blue Nile falls. O/n Bahir Dar.
